FAQs: Any DVD Converter for 3GP Phone

Q: After I load my DVD into the program, I can only see the titles of it. How can I see the chapters in each title of the DVD?

A: Please check the option “Show Chapters” in the bottom left panel. Then all the chapters on the DVD will be shown in the upper left panel.

Q:I just want a clip/segment of my DVD. Is it possible?

A: Yes. You need set "Start Time" and "Stop Time" to get the clip you want. First of all, you should highlight the tile of your DVD, which includes the main episodes of the movie. And then enter correct values for "Start Time" and "Stop Time", which can be found in the bottom right panel of the interface. For example, if you want a 5-minute-clip from the 10 minutes of the whole movie, please enter "00:00:00" for "Start Time" and "00:05:00" for "Stop Time". This operation also works for a certain chapter.

Q: After my DVD is ripped, I get a quite low/high volume. Is it possible to raise/lower it?

A: Please choose “Options” in the “View” menu, then click the “DVD Options” in the pop-up window, and you will find the option for "Volume". The default value is 3. You can enter a smaller or larger number for it.

Q: After the conversion is done, I click "Open" to find the output files. But I get a sub-folder named in the Album of my DVD and the output files are in it. Is it possible to avoid it? I just want to find my output files directly in the output folder I set.

A: Please choose “Options” in the “View” menu, and then uncheck the options for "Create title folder in the output folder" and "Create album folder in the output folder". After that, you will be able to find the output files directly in the output folder.

Q: My DVD has been ripped into 3GP format. But I do not think the video image is clear enough. Can I improve it by certain settings?

A: The default settings which we offered for 3GP output are requested by most of mobile phones. If you want to get better quality, please select "mpeg4" as video codec instead of "h.263", as well as setting a larger number for video bit rate and video size. They will produce a file with better quality but you must be sure that those settings can be supported by your phone.

Q: The output 3GP files are playable well by QuickTime on my PC. But when I load the files into my phone and play them, the video and audio get out of sync. Why?

A: Maybe your phone requires different settings with what we offered, which can work for most of phones. Can you get to know what proper settings for frame rate, as well as some others your phone can support? If you have no clear idea with it, please e-mail to our support team at support [at] any-video-converter.com (replace [at] as @ before sending message) and they will help you out.

Q: what is the difference between the free trail version and the full version?

A: The only difference between the trial version and the full version is the limitation that you can only encode 2 minutes for each item. After you purchase our product, you will be provided your registration name and code which will unlock the limitation of free trial version.
